As we are journeying along our pathways you and those gone are often in our thoughts. Finding the joy in our memories and passing on the knowledge learnt. Supporting our children as you supported us. Everyone comments how close we are and that is all down to you and nan creating those strong family bonds.

3 years ago since you passed. You are often spoken of and we always find little anicdotes that remind us of you. You are missed by your friends and family but remebered with such fondness. Always the constant in all of our lives. Its a family day today not intentional but just how it fell, a good excuse to get old photos out and eat cake.
love you and miss you xx

Today we lay my grandma to rest. Unfortunately we cannot gather the masses (which there would have been) so today we're all just doing what we can in our own ways. It's hard to know what to write about such an incredible woman. I can confidently say that I wouldn't be the person I am today if it wasn't for her. She taught me so many lessons throughout the years that I am so grateful for. I can bake, keep plants alive, use my imagination for entertainment and so much more. My grandma's house was where the whole family gathered every Sunday for a Sunday dinner, cake making, checking for tadpoles, enduring Formula 1 on TV and playing any game we could create. I'm part of such a close family and I feel we owe a lot of that to my grandma. She didn't stop with family though. She was a pillar in the community for decades. I got to see the amazing work she did with scouts, age concern, nogs and many others. She was a tenacious woman with so much strength and determination but she also cared so deeply for those around her. Losing my grandma has left such a huge hole in the whole family but we will always remember and forever share the memories.
Thank you for everything Grandma. Love you always.
